New Zealand born author, J M E Bell, spent most of her childhood growing up in Auckland’s northern suburbs along with a few years in the English Midlands from whence her father hailed. Like many antipodeans J M E Bell made her way to England as a young adult for her “overseas experience”.

As a university educated scientist, with an M.Sc. in Biology, J M E Bell believes thorough research is important, and her passion for nature and science has played a big part in developing the story lines and characters in this novel. It is her desire that the reader escape into the tale and that it should feel decidedly real to them.

J M E Bell personally reads a variety of literature and non-fiction treatises on the topics of science, biology, and society and it is her scientific leanings that have led her to author a novel in the science-fiction action-adventure genre.

She currently resides with her husband in Perth, Western Australia.
